Events of all sizes are experiencing growth this year. The New York City Marathon received a record-breaking 200,000 applications this year, marking a 22% increase from 2024.
Closer to RaceID headquarters, Sweden’s Kalmar Ironman sold out by January 2025, earlier than ever before. Interestingly, the event also reported a younger demographic than in previous years, showing that the next generation of athletes is stepping up to the starting line.
